Our oak Ashton bed is a stunning sleigh type solid oak bed frame with superb metal support. The bed benefits a sprung slatted base, but has a unique steel frame bolted to the inside of the solid oak side rails. There are no finger joints or veneers on the frame, because the joints are dove tailed. The frame has no need of extra support legs which can catch in carpet when the bed is moved.
