Because you're lifting just one half rather than the full base, it's significantly lighter and easier to open — making it a much more manageable choice for everyday use.

It doesn't offer quite as much storage as a full lift ottoman, but for many people that's a very worthwhile trade-off for the ease of use. A clever, practical solution for any bedroom.
